I have had a few questions come up about our Simply Scrapbooks Scrapbook Challenge that I want to answer.
*You do not have to bring a layout with you when you come to sign your commitment card. *If you can’t make it on Monday, that’s okay, Commitment cards are available all month. * 4 visits are required to be eligible for Level A prizes, if you live to far or going to be away, bring all 4 double page layouts at one time and you are still eligible for Level B prizes.

The staff and I were having a discussion the other day about our own lack of scrapbooking. Shame on us! Don’t get me wrong, Shanan & RD are always busy working on projects for the store, make & takes, etc but we are not taking the time to make actual scrapbook pages for our albums. Here comes the challenge!

We want you to complete 4 double pages layouts between June 15 – July 11, 2009!

There are two levels of prize drawings: Level A- to acheive level A, each week beginning June 15, 2009 complete a double page layout (must include photos, title, & journaling). Bring it into Simply Scrapbooks by the Saturday of that week. 4 visits during the month, each with a doubel page layout is required. (You must bring in your own layouts!) Level B- to acheive level B, bring in 4 double page layouts anytime between June 15 – July 11, 2009.

All Level A acheivers will be eligible for the level B prizes and the prizes will be awarded on July 13, 2009. Everyone acheiving either level will win a prize!

These will be the prizes for the drawings:

Level A- $100 Gift Card to Simply Scrapbooks, 100 sheets of Bazzill Cardstock, & Scrapbook Goody Bag (valued at $100!)

Level B- $50 Gift Card to Simply Scrapbooks, 50 sheets of Bazzill Cardstock, & a free class of your choice.

The first 25 customers to come in and sign their commitment card on Monday, June 15 will receive a FREE gift! See you Monday!

“Rabbit rabbit white rabbit” is a common superstition, held particularly among children. The most common modern version states that a person should say “rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit” upon waking on the first day of each new month, and on doing so will receive good luck for the remainder of that month.The exact origin of the superstition is certainly unknown, though it has appeared in print at least as early as 1420 in England, where it is most commonly said to have originated, though some reports place its origins even earlier, into the 1200s. Today it has spread to most of the English-speaking countries of the world, although like all folklore, determining its exact area of distribution is difficult. The superstition is related to the broader belief in the rabbit or hare being a “lucky” animal, as exhibited in the practice of carrying a rabbit’s foot for luck. Some have also believed it is representing a jumping into the future and moving ahead with life and happiness
